The pheasant at The Glen have become a talking point for their height, variety and overall high-quality. To help you enjoy these we can offer the following:

• Back to back partridge/pheasant days in October
• Large double gun days or smaller single days in November and December
• Set price January days
• A combination of days to fit your exact requirements

Walked up grouse in August and September is the perfect way to greet the new season. Driven grouse may be available in August, September and October, either as a full day, or as a mixed day with partridge.

Driven partridge are offered in September and October for days of 150-200 birds. Drives are presented as driven grouse over the traditional butts or small valleys. This is partridge shooting with a difference!

Smaller mixed driven or walked up partridge/ grouse and pheasant days are also available throughout the season.

Why not come for a day or more in September or October, at grouse, partridge or both, and start the season with a bang! Or make a week of it and add some autumn salmon fishing too!

Estates

The Glen

Established for over 100 years, the Glen is one of the finest shoots in the Scottish Borders. As the name suggests it is secluded in its own steep glen and is served totally by private roads. The Quair Water flows through the Glen, making it's way from Loch Eddy to the Tweed.

The 3,500 acre grouse moor can offer outstanding driven and walked up shooting with breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside.

Muirkirk

The Dippel Beat at Muirkirk has long been looked upon as one of the best Grouse shoots in the area and is wonderfully suited to producing excellent sporting Grouse and Partridge. Wild Duck flighting is also available over the two flights ponds on the shoot.
